Prof. Partha Pratim De received the Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India, the M.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, USA. He has worked with Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, USA and Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore. He has also taught at the Indian Institutes of Technology. His research interests include signal processing and communication systems. He has published in IEEE transactions and has been granted 26 USA patents.
