Ananya Ghosal
Research Associate, FTSI
Ananya Ghosal has completed her B.Tech degree in Biotechnology from Haldia Institute of Technology. She has received certifications in Nanotechnology and RT-PCR based detection of gene expression, which have strengthened her technical background in molecular biology and applied biotechnology.
She co-authored a book chapter titled “Effects of Micro and Nanoplastics on the Human Genome”, published by Wiley, which reflects her interest in the interaction between environmental factors and genetic systems.
Ananya joined the Food Technology & Science Institute (FTSI), TCG CREST in July 2025 as a Research Associate. Her current work primarily focuses on protein science and its applications in food biotechnology. With a solid foundation in experimental techniques, she actively contributes to ongoing research and development activities at the institute.
