Brief Bio:
Dr. Arup Chakraborty completed his master’s degree from the University of North Bengal and later obtained his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar in collaboration with the Physical Research Laboratory. His doctoral research focused on high-precision atomic parity-violation calculations using relativistic many-body methods. At TCG CREST, he is currently working in the area of quantum computation, with a focus on the quantum-selected coupled-cluster method and its applications. He aims to explore scalable quantum algorithms for precision many-body physics.
Research Interests:
Quantum computation, Relativistic many-body theory.
Field of Work at TCG CREST and Supervisor:
Quantum computation; working with Prof. Bhanu Pratap Das.
Current Role at TCG CREST:
Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow, CQuERE.
