Rohan has been working as a Project Associate under the supervision of Dr Tanmoy Basu since August 2026.

He completed his B.Sc.(Hons) in Physics from University of Calcutta (2024) and M.Sc. in Physics from Presidency University (2026), Kolkata specializing in Condensed Matter Physics.

Having a deep passion towards Quantum Mechanics and Optics,  his research interests lie towards experimental studies related to Light and their behavior at Quantum & Classical domains,  Photonics  and Computational Physics. Moreover,  he loves to participate in Hackathons related to Quantum Computing.

Apart from academia, he loves to play chess, football, & some games that help him stay in equilibrium with his academic routine.
