The wet biology lab specializes in performing different types of molecular and biochemical analysis. Leveraging state-of-the-art techniques, the lab space is optimized for molecular biology applications, such as tissue staining, immunophenotyping, quantitative RTPCRs, PCRs and other experiments for DNA/RNA analysis. This lab also specializes in conducting fundamental biochemical experiments using spectrophotometer, fluorimeter and western blotting. By executing these foundational assays, the lab facilitates a wide range of research projects aimed at understanding the complexities of the nervous system and developing potential treatments for neurological conditions. This work forms the backbone of neurological research and aids the efforts of all other specialized areas mentioned.
