Recruitment of Senior Project Associate for an ISRO Sponsored Project

Job Requirement: To develop and assist optical setup for compact Raman laser systems related to Cold Atom Gravimeter.
Essential Qualifications:
- Sc. / B-Tech.in Physics, Electronics or allied areas in science, engineering or technology from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Four years’experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations on Scientific activities and services
OR
M-Tech. in Physics, Electronics or allied areas in engineering or technology from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Two years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations on Scientific activities and services
OR
Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
Age limit: 40 Yrs
Desirable Experience /Area of Expertise:
- Knowledge of experiments on laser cooling and trapping.
- Hands on experience on the Diode lasers, precision optical components like mirrors, waveplates, optical fibers etc.
- Experience in laser beam characterization, beam collimation, frequency stabilization etc.
- Working experience on Acousto optic modulator and electro optic modulator with their drivers.
- Knowledge of basic electronics interfacing and control system for the experiments.
- Working experience in high precision optics laboratory.
- Knowledge of Eagle, LabView, Phython, SolidWorks etc. is an added advantage.
Salary: Rs 41,998/- + 30% HRA per month.
Tenure: Initially for 2 years but can be extended based on performance and project requirement.
