We are pleased to announce that Dr. Anant Jain, Assistant Professor at the Centre for High Impact Neuroscience and Translational Applications (CHINTA), TCG CREST DTBU, Kolkata, has been inducted as an Associate of the Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc) for the tenure up to December 2028.
The IASc Associateship programme, instituted in 1983, recognises talented young scientists working in India and aims to strengthen their engagement with the national scientific community. Associates actively contribute to the Academy’s initiatives in scientific research, journal publications, and science education, including summer internships, lecture workshops, and refresher courses for teachers.
Dr. Jain’s induction reflects his growing contributions to neuroscience research and translational science. We congratulate him on this prestigious recognition and extend our best wishes for his continued scientific excellence and engagement with the Academy.
