Job description
The photonic integrated circuits-nitrogen vacancy center group at CQuERE,TCG CREST(https://www.tcgcrest.org/researches/photonic-integrated-circuits-for-sensing-and-computing) is offering a Research Associate position for working in quantum sensing using single photon
emitters. The project will provide the opportunity to develop state-of-the-art photonic integrated circuit-based sensors and working in an international and collaborative research environment. The project requires in-depth knowledge of single photon generation using
spontaneous parametric down conversion process.
Qualifications and requirements:
a. A doctoral degree in Physics/Materials Science/Chemistry/Engineering
b. Hands on experience spontaneous parametric down conversion
c. Experience in lasers coupling and other optical equipment
d. Experience in second order correlation function measurements
e. Hand-on expertise in interfacing between various instruments
f. Experience in the development of indigenous data acquisition system
g. Experience in designing and analyzing optical systems
h. Good writing and communication skill and high-quality scientific production.
i. Strongly motivated for working in a team
