Faculty position for quantum computing and quantum machine learning (theory) with emphasis on translational research
CQuERE seeks to appoint faculty members at the Assistant Professor and Associate Professor levels in the areas of quantum computing and quantum machine learning (theory activities), with emphasis on translational research. There will be periodic review of the performance. An excellent research record is required for all the positions, as demonstrated by publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings. Applicants with industry experience will be given due consideration. Successful candidates will be expected to perform research at the forefront of quantum information science, supervise the work of PhD scholars, teach PhD courses on quantum science and technology.
Eligibility: PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science or Engineering.
The position-specific requirements are as follows:
Assistant Professor: Three or more years of postdoctoral experience, with research focus on any of the aforementioned areas.
Associate Professor: Eight or more years of experience, including five or more years of experience at an Assistant Professor level, with research focus on any of the aforementioned areas. Demonstrated experience of teaching and research supervision of PhD students and postdocs is desired.
(For exceptional candidates, specific experience requirements might be relaxed at the discretion of the CQuERE faculty members.)

CQuERE has openings for a few postdoctoral positions in the areas of theoretical quantum computing, quantum information and quantum communication, with emphasis on translational research.
