Dipanwita Roy
Research Associate, CQuERE
Dr. Dipanwita Roy did her PhD from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, in 2022 in composition and morphology-controlled nano-crystals and correlating their structure-property relations in optoelectronic devices. Thereafter, she joined Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, as a postdoctoral researcher in 2022. In the same year, she got the dean of faculty fellowship from the institute. Her research field includes the investigation of the microscopic mechanism underlying the self-healing behaviour of pervoskite nanocrystals using the FRAP technique and anisotropic emission for single 1D nanocrystal at the multiexcitonic regime, with heralded spectroscopy.
She joined TCG CREST on 15th of December, 2025 as a Research Associate (RA II). Her present research is related to NV centers in nanodiamond-based Quantum Sensors using advanced microscopic techniques and surface modification of nanodiamonds for real-world applications
