Dibyajyoti Chakravarti
Post Doctoral Researcher
Dibyajyoti completed his PhD in 2022 at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata under the supervision of Professor Debashis Mukherjee and Professor Ankan Paul. He completed his BSc degree in Chemistry from Presidency University, Kolkata in 2014 and his MSc degree in Chemistry from Calcutta University in 2016.
His doctoral research involved the formulation and implementation of spin adapted multireference coupled cluster (MRCC) theories along with their perturbative variants. These theories have been used to study potential energy curves and to evaluate spectroscopic energy differences like EA, IP and EE of molecules. Currently he is building upon his work on MRCC formalisms, in addition to exploring the use of quantum algorithms to solve many-body electronic structure theories.
