Subject of the E-mail: The subject of the e-mail should be “CREST School 2022 Application: <Your Name>”
Details of the Curriculum Vitae: Your CV should contain your name, address, mobile number, complete academic details with marks/grades, and any academic achievements. Alongside, your CV should contain your responses to some questionaries given below. Please do not write these responses in the body of the e-mail.
Questionaries: Here are the questions to which you should respond.
- Q1: Is there any book (printed copy or e-copy) in mathematics that you have read in the last two years – other than the books used as textbooks in your course work? If yes, write down the title of the book and the name(s) of the authors and a brief description of the part you read (such as chapter numbers 1, 2, 4, 5 or the first half,…)
- Q2: Write down a precise statement of a result in mathematics that you studied in the last 2 years and you liked a lot. Write down what you liked about it.
- Q3: Did you come across any result in mathematics that you studied in the last 2 years that is used outside your coursework? If so, write down the statement of the result and the context where it is used along with a few sentences on the application of the mathematical result.
