Jeremy Ranjan Ghose

Jeremy is the President of the Chatterjee Group, a private investment firm with investments and operations spanning several industries and continents. The Chatterjee Group has an Enterprise Value in excess of USD 15 Billion and Revenues of USD 4 Billion, operating in 45 different countries and employing more than 18000 people. Jeremy is a Board member of Lummus Technology, LabVantage, TCG CREST, TCG Digital, TCG Real Estate and is part of the Executive Council of CREST India. Jeremy was previously the Managing Director and CEO of Investcorp Credit Management (ICM) before becoming Chairman. He served as Chairman of the Global and European Investment Committees at ICM and was a member of Investcorp’s Management and Investment Committees. Jeremy joined Investcorp when it acquired 3i Debt Management in 2017.
Jeremy joined 3i Debt Management after 3i acquired Mizuho Investment Management from Mizuho Corporate Bank. At 3i, he served on the Executive and Risk Committee of 3i Group plc and was the CEO and Managing Partner of the Debt Management business. Earlier, Jeremy was with Mizuho Corporate Bank (formerly The Fuji Bank) & was the Founder of Mizuho’s Leveraged Finance business in 1988 and the Founder of the third-party independent fund management business in 2005. He was responsible for the LBO/MBO franchise, leveraged syndications, mezzanine finance and equity fund business in Europe, U.S. and Asia (excl. Japan). Under his supervision, the bank was involved in financing over 500 buy-out transactions. A veteran of the leveraged buyout & M&A markets, Jeremy has over 40 years of global experience. He served as an Executive Officer on the Board of Mizuho Corporate Bank, becoming the first non-Japanese person to achieve this status in the bank’s history.
Jeremy is also Chairman of Future Hope UK, has a B.A. (Honours) and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
