Job Description (Research Associate)
We are seeking a Research Associate (RA) to join our team at the Research Institute for Sustainable Energy (RISE) at TCG CREST in Salt Lake, Kolkata, India. The main research focus will be on the utilization of biomass to produce biohydrogen and value-added products related to bioenergy. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in standard microbiological and molecular biology techniques. Candidates having hands- on training in anaerobic culturing methods, bioreactor operations, and knowledge of analyzing metagenomics and/or biological high-throughput data will be preferred.
Required Qualifications
Research Associate (RA): The candidate should have a PhD degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with consistently good academic record. We expect the candidate to have good interpersonal skills to be able to work and collaborate within a diverse group. Shortlisted candidates based on their academic records and previous experience will be called for an interview.
Position: Research Associate
Remuneration: Rs 58,000/- + HRA
Duration: Initially for one year with possibilities of extension depending on performance.
