Title of the talk: Natural Language Processing: Miles to go

Abstract: Estimated 80-90% of business data are unstructured. Text data comprises more than 50% of it. To make sense out of that huge amount of text, we have to process natural languages. The world is multilingual and our writing systems include many scripts. This talk will try to touch on different building blocks of a typical text processing system and their evaluation methods. Downstream tasks like Summarization, Hate Speech detection from Social media with their industrial impact will also be discussed. Finally a few research challenges will be outlined to complement the above discussion.
