RISE (TCG-CREST) is developing a first-rate research laboratory infrastructure for “Energy and Sustainability” Research at Salt Lake, Sector V, Kolkata. A set of outstanding experimental facilities are being installed and will be operational by August 2022. Exciting fundamental and applied research will be performed in the fields of Advanced Batteries, Hydrogen and CO2 mitigation. We would like to appoint highly motivated and passionate young researchers to participate in this venture and deliver on high quality research output.
- Research Associates (4): Fresh Ph.D.s or candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are expecting thesis defense soon may apply. The areas of expertise we are looking at are electrochemistry, materials science, inorganic synthesis, organic and polymer synthesis. Salary will be Rs. 55000 plus 24% HRA per month. The initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable by 1-2 years more depending on the progress. (Last date over !)
- Project Associates (6): Candidates with M.Sc. (Chemistry/Physics), M. Tech. (Materials Science or other areas related directly or indirectly to Energy Science) with consistently good academic record may apply. The candidates should clearly mention in their CV about any hands on training they have had through an internship or laboratory training. If they have cleared any of the national level examinations such as NET/GATE etc. it will be an added plus point. Salary will be Rs. 31000 plus 24% HRA per month. The initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable by 1-2 years more depending on the progress. (Last date over !)
- Technical Assistants (2):Candidates with B.Sc. (Chemistry/Physics) or B.E. (electrical/Mechanical) with good academic record may apply. The candidates should clearly mention in their CV about any hands-on training they have had through an internship or laboratory training. The salary will be Rs. 26000 plus 24% HRA per month. The initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable by 1-2 years more depending on the progress. Candidates with excellent record and some practical experience may be considered for Senior Technical Assistant position with higher salary. (Last date over !)
- Administrative Assistant (1):Candidates with B.Com. or BBA or Diploma in Management may apply. The candidates should clearly mention in their CV about any work experience they have had. The salary will be Rs. 24000 plus 24% HRA per month. The initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable by 1-2 years more depending on the progress.
