Research in RISE focuses on the Development of Novel Materials and Device Technologies in the Area of Sustainable Energy Storage. There is an ongoing PhD program in RISE starting 2023 and the Ph.D. degree is awarded by the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR).

RISE also plans to start two-year M.Tech courses in “Battery Technologies” and “Green Technologies and Sustainability” in future. In addition to the course-work, this will have a strong component of hands-on laboratory work providing useful training for individuals employed in academia as well as industries.
