Announcement for PhD Programme 2022 (Application date over!)
Research Institute for Sustainable Energy (RISE), under the aegis of TCG Centres for Research and Education in Science and Technology (TCG CREST), is offering Ph.D fellowships in broad areas of energy science with a special focus on research in the areas of Solid-State Battery, Lithium and Sodium Ion Batteries, Electro-deposition of Metals, Electro-catalysis/Photocatalysis and Computational Research in Sustainable Energy. Only Full-time Ph.D aspirants will be considered. All students who have passed or are in their final year pursuing M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech/BS-MS Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology and other such related areas, who have qualified for NET/ GATE/ DST Inspire Fellowship are eligible to apply. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a selection interview. If necessary, prospective candidates may also have to write a qualifying examination. Selected candidates will be given a Junior Research Fellowship of Rs. 40000/- including HRA. An appropriate contingency amount will be provided for purchasing books, printing, attending National/International conferences and other such expenses.
