Dr. Rima Hazra is a Research Scientist at IAI, TCG CREST. She previously served as a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Netherlands, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, focusing on LLM safety alignment, LLM reasoning, NLP, and responsible and inclusive AI. She earned her Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur, where her research centered on information retrieval, NLP, and graph learning. Dr. Hazra has published widely in leading venues, including AAAI, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, ICWSM, ECIR, ECML PKDD, and JCDL (CORE A*/A). Her work has been recognized with the Microsoft Academic Partnership Grant (MAPG 2024), the ANRF ARG 2025 grant (joint), and Google’s PaliGemma Academic Program award for contributions to AI safety alignment.
