Dr. Proloy Das, Assistant Professor, IAI, TCG receives the “PM Early Career Research Grant’ by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) for his project entitled, “A multi-modal neuroimaging study to uncover the neural basis of cognitive flexibility in humans by tracking rapid dynamical changes during task switching and mapping them to the cortical networks using novel high precision signal processing tools.”
This research program will help understand how our brains seamlessly shift between tasks — a skill known as cognitive flexibility. Using advanced brain imaging with cutting-edge signal processing, this research aims to decode the moment-by-moment conversations between brain regions that keep us mentally agile.
