Title: Deep Learning based Clustering
Abstract: Today deep learning has pervaded almost all areas of signal processing and machine learning. However a vast majority of these studies are targeted for a supervised scenario. There has been only a few fundamental studies on deep learning based clustering. In this lecture, we will discuss about the main bottlenecks of deep learning based clustering formulations. How they have been overcome in the past using autoencoders and dictionary learning based formulations will also be discussed. Finally, we will briefly delve into (time permitting) what can be expected in the future.
