Dr. Kausik Sengupta
Research Scientist
Dr. Sengupta’s current research interest is in Quantum Machine Learning and its possible applications in fraud and risk management.
Dr. Sengupta obtained his Ph.D. in Condensed matter Physics from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research at Mumbai. He was a post-doctoral fellow at University of Cologne, Germany. Subsequently, he moved to University of Geneva at Switzerland to chair a research scientist position. He was a recipient of Alexander Von Humboldt and Swiss National Science Foundation fellowships. He also hold faculty position at Centre for Basic Sciences, an organization under the umbrella of Department of Atomic Energy at Mumbai.
