Shion Samadder Chaudhury

Assistant Professor

Shion Samadder Chaudhury works in the areas of combinatorics and topology along with their applications in secret sharing and complexity theory. He obtained his master’s degree from Chennai Mathematical Institute and finished his PhD from Indian Statistical Institute in 2021. During his doctoral tenure he visited Kyushu University, Japan for research collaboration in the domain of low-complexity secret sharing.

His research is mainly focused on matroids, combinatorial Hodge theory and some geometric problems related to cobordisms. He is also interested in additive combinatorics and quantum computation.
