PhD Programs
The IAI Research Programs are focused on the following areas: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, data-science, cryptology and security, cyber security, post quantum cryptography, translational mathematics and financial analytics. At IAI a secured data-driven approach is adopted to transform information into insights and insights into actions that would enable a better future. Currently, we offer PhD in Mathematics and PhD in Computer Science.
Executive Programs
Short-term executive programs range between 5 days to 3 months of active classes. The method of pedagogy is diverse and adopts the case-study based model. A hybrid learning platform with extra prominence to online mode is adopted to cater to the modern busy world. Some of the courses are project-driven.
In the near future, we intend to start a full-time Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence and Data-Science.
Previous PhD Programs
Session 2020
In 2020 we offered a Ph.D. program in collaboration with both Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), India, and Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), India. Our research focus included: Financial Analysis, Cryptography, Analytics of cyber data and cyber traffic, Analytics related to Translational Neurosciences, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Seven candidates were selected. The Ph.D. aspirants were offered a CREST scholarship for the full tenure of the Ph.D. program. Only full-time Ph.D. aspirants were considered.
Session 2021
In 2021 we are offering a full-time Ph.D. program in Computer Science in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), India. Our present research focus includes Financial Analysis, Cryptography and Cyber Security, Mathematics and its Applications, and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. We have only considered full-time Ph.D. candidates. The selected candidates have qualified for the institute entrance exam followed by an interview. All the selected candidates have been offered the CREST junior research scholarship entailing a stipend of Rs. 40,000 per month along with an annual contingency grant up to Rs 1,00,000 for the tenure of the Ph.D. program.
All the selected candidates are required to clear the coursework in the span of their first two semesters, after which they will be officially registered under RKMVERI as Ph.D. candidates of the institute. As a part of the process, each student will be assigned to a faculty member of his/her own choice. At the end of each academic year, each student has to undergo an annual evaluation process for their research progress in front of an expert committee. Based on the evaluation and recommendation, of the expert committee, the student’s tenure will be extended for the next year. The maximum time span a Ph.D. student can get is 5 years from the time of registration. On a special recommendation from the supervisor and the academic board, it may be extended to 6 years.
