Announcement, Ph.D. Programme 2022

Institute for Advancing Intelligence (IAI), under the aegis of TCG Centres for Research and Education in Science and Technology (TCG CREST), is offering Ph.D. fellowships in broad areas of Computer Science and Mathematics with a special focus on Cryptography and Security, Quantum Information and Quantum Cryptography, Mathematical Applications, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Financial Analytics. Only Full-time Ph.D. aspirants will be considered. All students who passed or are in their final year pursuing M.Tech / M.E / M.Sc / M.Stat / M.Math or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Physics or other areas of Quantitative Sciences may apply. Exceptional B.Tech / B.E students will also be considered. The degree will be awarded in collaboration with either Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) and/or Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI) and/or NIT Durgapur subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the respective institute.

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the IAI Admission Test (written examination) followed by an interview conducted by the Institute. Those who clear the cut-off marks of the Written Admission Test will be interviewed. As an integral part of the interview, each candidate has to explore one relevant research paper of his domain of interest which will be discussed during the interview. Selected candidates will be given a Junior Research Fellowship of Rs. 40000/- including HRA. An appropriate contingency amount will be provided for purchasing books, printing, attending National/International conferences and other such expenses.
